—go, go, go— – Henneh Kyereh Kwaku

—go, go, go—

I built a home for you

around my home

I know you love tree houses

—I let the weeds grow

into a comfy house for you

I know you love to water ski

—there is a big pool in the house too

I have danced to your melodies

and clapped along

have I burnt enough calories?

I’m sweating already

My body is on fire and vibrating

to your beats—but my soul is icy

Henneh Kyereh Kwaku is a Bachelor of Public Health, Disease Control student of the University of Health and Allied Sciences. He writes from wherever there is enough oxygen to breathe and enough emotions to inspire a revolution.  He says “man needs redemption and the power rests in the hand of the poet.”
